New Tool Introduced to Compare Presidential Health Care Proposals

The Kaiser Family Foundation recently released a new tool that can be used to compare the proposals and platforms of presidential candidates in a convenient side-by-side table format. This tool allows you to choose as many candidates as you would like or simply view all republican or all democratic candidates.

The information is compiled and constantly updated by the Foundation staff from candidate's websites, candidate speeches, campaign debates, and news reports. Candidates' positions are summarized in four main categories: access to coverage, cost containment, improving the quality of care, and financing.

The Foundation hosts this tool on its health08.org website which also provides analysis of health policy issues, regular public opinion surveys, and news and video coverage from the campaign trail.
