The Texas Pediatric Society is offering copies of their Childhood Obesity Toolkit for the cost of shipping only (see below). The toolkit contains resources providers can use to develop a comprehensive approach to childhood obesity in their practice. It includes guidelines, educational materials, family ageements, charting forms and a host of other useful information. It's an invaluable resouce for working with obese kids and their families.
Because TPS wants to disseminate the information as widely as possible, our Childhood Obesity Toolkits are now being offered for FREE! The TPS Childhood Obesity Toolkits WITHOUT BMI Wheels can be obtained at the TPS Office in Austin at no cost. For those who are not able to travel to Austin to pick-up toolkits, TPS will mail them to your office for a small fee to cover shipping costs. Providers who live in Texas can obtain boxes of 15 toolkits for $15, and out of state orders will be shipped for $30 per box.
